I’m back again with some more Gossip Girl outfit rankings, and this week we’re focusing on the Upper East Side’s Bad-Girl-Gone-Good-Gone-Bad-Again-Back-To-Good-Then-Bad- And Oh I Give Up Who Knows, Serena Van Der Woodsen.
I’ve watched Gossip Girl a lot. I’m not ashamed to admit it. I’m going to watch the hell out of the new series as an absolute guilty pleasure.
There are many things to love about the soapy series, from its fancy soirees to the absolute balls-to-the-wall bonkers plot-lines (Bart Bass coming back from the dead, anyone?). The best thing about Gossip Girl is the fashion, however, and no character is more fashionable than Blair Waldorf, the Queen of the Upper East Side who we all loved to hate at first and then we came to love.
Blair’s style in season one can be described in one word: preppy. Blue, red and white makes up the bulk of her wardrobe, along with ballet flats, gorgeous coats and of course her iconic headbands. But with so many amazing looks, which ones are the best?

I’ve mentioned this on the site before, but science-fiction is my favourite film genre. The ten films on this list comprise some of the best offerings of the genre, in no particular order.
I’ve tried to provide a range of films, from ones that lean into more hard sci-fi territory to those that are just a whole bunch of fun.
